Indonesia Prepares Badminton and Swimming Teams for Asian Games 2026

Chef de Mission Todotua Pasaribu visited the PBSI training centre in Cipayung ahead of the Aichi‑Nagoya 2026 Asian Games, praising the facilities and saying badminton is ready to deliver medals for Indonesia. Top men’s singles player Alwi Farhan pledged an all‑out performance, vowing to give his best at every tournament leading up to the Games.

The Indonesian Aquatics Federation announced a squad of 14 swimmers – nine men and five women – for the Games in Japan. The roster includes veterans I Gede Siman Sudartawa, Masniari Wolf and Farrel Armandio Tangkas, as well as rising talents such as Jason Donovan Yusuf. The team aims to end a 36‑year medal drought after missing the podium at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games. Their events will take place 20–25 September at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre.
