Indonesia prepares Rp12 trillion Wage Subsidy Assistance for Q4 2026

The Indonesian government is preparing the distribution of the 2026 Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU) for the fourth quarter, covering the period from October to December 2026. A total of 13.3 million workers are slated to receive Rp900,000 each, representing a monthly allocation of Rp300,000 paid in a single lump sum. The total budget for this program is estimated at Rp12 trillion.

Despite being registered as recipients, many workers have reported that the funds have not yet been disbursed. The Ministry of Manpower has advised the public to wait for official updates via their verified social media channels. Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto noted that the program requires further regulatory preparation, specifically the drafting of a Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK), before an official implementation date can be announced.

Simultaneously, the Ministry of Social Affairs is processing the fourth stage of regular social assistance programs, including PKH and BPNT, for the October-December 2026 period. These disbursements are currently undergoing data verification and validation through the SIKS-NG system to ensure aid reaches the correct beneficiaries.
