Indonesia President Jokowi confronted with new claims of falsified diploma documents

Doctor Tifa posted on X that she possesses 26 copies of documents she says were used as prerequisites for President Joko Widodo’s (Jokowi) 2014 presidential candidacy. She asserted the papers could become evidence if the diploma case proceeds to court, stating, "Di tangan saya ada 26 lembar salinan dokumen yang dijadikan syarat JKW maju Pilpres 2014." No independent verification or official response from Jokowi’s legal team has been provided.

Separately, prosecutor Roy Suryo lodged police reports against lawyer Lechumanan and digital‑forensic expert Rismon Sianipar, accusing them of providing false statements in an authentic act and of defamation linked to the same diploma controversy. He cited report number 4111/6/2026 SPKT Polda Metro Jaya and criticized the claim that the organization Peradi Bersatu could be a victim in the case.

Both developments occur amid ongoing legal and police investigations into allegations that Jokowi used falsified academic qualifications to qualify for the presidency.
