Indonesia Presidential Staff Chief praises Tapak Suci for youth development

The Indonesian Presidential Staff Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, has commended the Tapak Suci Putera Muhammadiyah organization for its role in fostering the younger generation. Speaking at the National Working Meeting for the 2026–2031 period in Yogyakarta, Prabowo stated that the organization’s efforts align with President Prabowo Subianto’s fourth Asta Cita goal, which focuses on strengthening superior, character-driven, and competitive human resources.

Prabowo highlighted that Tapak Suci contributes to national character building through pencak silat training, emphasizing values such as faith, morality, discipline, and integrity. He noted that the organization not only preserves national culture but also produces high-achieving athletes, citing their success at the 2024 ASEAN University Games. The Chief also conveyed respects from President Prabowo Subianto to the organization’s leadership and members.
