Indonesia probes high‑level actors in ex‑Jampidsus corruption case
Public policy researcher Gian Kasogi urged investigators to expand the probe into the ex‑Jampidsus corruption scandal beyond the immediate suspects. He argued that the inquiry should target senior “intellectual actors” within the system rather than focusing only on former Jampidsus official Febri Adriansyah.
Kasogi said, “If investigators are seriously intent on uncovering the intellectual actors in the ex‑Jampidsus case, the investigation should be directed upward, not downward,” emphasizing the need for clarity on whether Adriansyah is being examined as a former Jampidsus employee or in his capacity as president of the Forest Area Control Task Force.
