Indonesia ranks sixth globally for culinary destinations

Indonesia has achieved significant recognition in international travel rankings for 2026. According to the Condé Nast Traveller Readers' Choice Awards, Indonesia ranked sixth globally for its culinary destinations, scoring 95.87 percent. This placement puts Indonesian cuisine ahead of Spain and Thailand, following top-ranked Italy, Greece, and Portugal.

In the category of Asian beaches, three Indonesian locations were named among the best for 2026. Nusa Dua in Bali secured fifth place in Asia, while Padang Padang Beach in Bali ranked seventh. Gili Trawangan in West Nusa Tenggara also appeared on the list at seventeenth place.
