Indonesia regional administration and public service updates

Various regional and national administrative developments are underway in Indonesia. In Cilegon, the RSUD Medical Center is undergoing construction, with the first floor and emergency department expected to be operational by 2027. Meanwhile, RSUD Gunung Jati in Cirebon has reported an increase in emergency room visits, particularly among pediatric patients presenting with fever, cough, and colds.

On a national level, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs are collaborating to synchronize Hajj pilgrim data. By integrating the Integrated Hajj Computerized Information System (Siskohat) with the Civil Registry database (Dukcapil), the government aims to ensure accurate identity verification and prevent data manipulation without altering existing queue numbers.

Regarding fiscal management, the Kuningan Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) has urged the optimization of local revenue to address limited fiscal space. Similarly, the Cirebon City Government is evaluating budget constraints to balance regional development projects, such as public lighting partnerships, with the necessary funding for upcoming regional elections.
