Indonesia regional legislators address party legal issue and infrastructure development

In West Sumatra, the Democratic Party’s regional leadership said it will await the outcome of the legal proceedings against party member Benni Saswin Nasrun, who has been named a suspect in a corruption case involving credit guarantees and a cement‑distribution bank guarantee. The party’s regional secretary said any decision on party disciplinary action (PAW) will follow the final court ruling.

In West Java, DPRD member Tuti Turimayanti highlighted the need for more equitable infrastructure development during the 19th anniversary celebration of Bandung Barat. She praised recent improvements in the southern part of the regency but urged continued efforts to ensure balanced growth and increased welfare for residents.
