Developments in religious pilgrimage services in Indonesia are focusing on both spiritual preparation and improved logistical quality. PT Akbar Ghani Wisata (Aghata Tour) has introduced a “Manasik Kalbu” program, which provides spiritual guidance to Umrah pilgrims to complement traditional technical training. The program aims to prepare pilgrims mentally and spiritually for their journey to the Holy Land.

Separately, regarding the 2027 Hajj season, M. Husni of Commission VIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) noted potential improvements in service quality. The 2027 Hajj is expected to implement a “fullboard” concept, where accommodation, catering, transportation, and services at Armuzna are integrated and managed by syarikah. Additionally, the Masyair package is expected to upgrade from package D to package C, which is intended to provide better comfort and facilities for pilgrims.
