Indonesia resumes SIM Keliling mobile driver’s license renewal service

The SIM Keliling mobile service, which allows residents to renew driver’s licences (SIM A and SIM C) without visiting a Satpas office, resumed operations on 19 June 2026. In Jakarta the service is offered at several sites, including Mall Grand Cakung (East Jakarta), LTC Glodok (West Jakarta), Kampus Trilogi Kalibata (South Jakarta), Mall Artha Gading (North Jakarta) and the Post Office at Lapangan Banteng (Central Jakarta). Additional locations serve Bogor, Bekasi and Bandung, with operating hours typically from 08:00 WIB to either 10:00 WIB or 13:00 WIB and limited daily quotas.

In Gunungkidul (Yogyakarta province) the police continue the mobile outreach with a schedule that includes SIM Station at Dhaksinarga Terminal (19 June), SIMMADE sessions at Balai Kalurahan Wiladeg and Siraman, SIMPITU at Toserba Sambipitu, and Saturday Night Service evenings in Wonosari. Applicants must bring an original and copy of their KTP, the current SIM, a health certificate and a psychology‑test result. Fees follow the PNBP tariff of roughly Rp 80,000 for SIM A and Rp 75,000 for SIM C, excluding health and test costs.
