Indonesia sets 2026 Academic Competency Test schedules

The 2026 Academic Competency Test (TKA) schedules and monitoring processes have been established for various educational levels in Indonesia. For high school (SMA/MA/SMK) students, the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has scheduled the TKA to take place in waves between October 26 and November 8, 2026. The examination will span four consecutive days, covering subjects such as Indonesian, English, Mathematics, and various elective subjects.

In South Tangerang, the local Education and Culture Office (Dindikbud Tangsel) is monitoring the TKA implementation within Community Learning Centers (PKBM). This monitoring aims to ensure that non-formal education assessments meet established standards and serve as a basis for improving learning quality. For PKBM Paket B, 630 students from 42 centers participated in exams held between April 6 and April 16, 2026, while Paket A testing is scheduled for late April.
