Indonesia Stock Exchange to revise 2026 IPO target and introduce gold ETF

Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) has signaled openness to a revision of the Indonesia Stock Exchange’s (BEI) 2026 initial public offering (IPO) target. OJK executive Hasan Fawzi said the regulator understands BEI’s need to adjust its target in the RKAT 2026 plan, and any proposal will be examined jointly with the exchange.

At the same time, BEI is preparing to launch a gold exchange‑traded fund (ETF) on 10 August 2026, marking the 49th anniversary of Indonesia’s capital market. Director of Development Iding Pardi noted that seven investment managers have applied to issue the gold ETF, with more pending approval, while Director of Trading Irvan Sunandy confirmed efforts to keep the launch on schedule.
