Indonesia reports Rp3,923.2 trillion investment over two years of Prabowo administration

Indonesia's national investment realization reached Rp3,923.2 trillion during the first two years of President Prabowo Subianto's administration, spanning from Q4 2024 through Q3 2026. This figure includes 5,485,944 jobs created. Domestic investment (PMDN) accounted for Rp1,998.7 trillion (50.9%), while foreign investment (PMA) reached Rp1,924.5 trillion (49.1%).

Investment in Special Economic Zones (KEK) has reached a cumulative Rp382.1 trillion, employing 302,262 people. For the period of January to September 2026, KEK investment stood at Rp46 trillion, representing 67% of the annual target.

In the mineral sector, the National Economic Council (DEN) projects that downstream exports for nickel, aluminum, and lithium battery components will reach USD 50 billion by the end of 2026, a 45% increase from USD 34.5 billion in 2024. Specifically, aluminum downstream exports are projected to reach between USD 7.2 billion and USD 7.2 billion in 2026.
