Indonesia to establish 500 Integrated National Schools

Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs Sugiono announced the government's initiative to establish Integrated National Schools (SNT) to improve access to high-quality education for high-achieving students across Indonesia. This program aims to ensure that talented students in remote areas are not denied educational opportunities.

President Prabowo has instructed the establishment of 500 Integrated National Schools nationwide, with a goal to have them operational in every regency and city within the next three years. During a visit to SNT 7 Bogor, Sugiono observed learning processes involving coding, artificial intelligence, and the STEAMS approach. The Bogor facility, which began operations in August 2026, serves 80 students across junior and senior high school levels.
