Indonesia to host 2026 World Esports Championship

The International Esports Federation (IESF) has confirmed that Indonesia will host the 2026 World Esports Championship from December 15 to December 20. The tournament is expected to feature over 500 athletes representing more than 110 national federations.

The competition will focus on five specific titles: Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG MOBILE, and eFootball. The event will include both PC and mobile gaming categories, with specific female divisions announced for Counter-Strike 2 and Mobile Legends.

While Argentina maintains its connection to the IESF through the Asociación de Deportes Electrónicos y Videojuegos de Argentina (DEVA), an official delegation for the 2026 event has not yet been announced.
