Indonesia advances infrastructure and tourism investment strategies
The Indonesian government is implementing several strategic economic and infrastructure initiatives. President Prabowo Subianto has emphasized a dual focus on large-scale strategic projects and meeting the basic needs of citizens in remote areas. This includes the inauguration of 3,395 bridges and 3,000 clean water sources constructed by the TNI and Polri to improve accessibility and quality of life in isolated regions.
In the financial sector, the government plans to utilize a portion of the Danantara Investment Management Agency's profits to support the state budget (APBN) starting in 2026, a move intended to reduce national debt. Additionally, the Ministry of Tourism is collaborating with Danantara to drive tourism investment.
