Indonesia U-17 football team remains undefeated in friendly series against Uzbekistan

The Indonesia U-17 national football team completed a successful two-match friendly series against Uzbekistan as part of their preparations for the 2027 AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualification.

Following a high-scoring 6-4 victory on August 24, 2026, the team secured a 1-1 draw in their second match held at Pakansari Stadium in Bogor on August 27, 2026. Under the guidance of coach David Nascimento, the squad remained undefeated across both encounters against the strong Asian opponent.

The upcoming qualification tournament is scheduled to take place in Myanmar from November 8 to 20, 2026. Indonesia has been placed in Group A alongside Myanmar, Afghanistan, the Philippines, and Cambodia.
