Indonesia wins 19 medals at China-ASEAN speed roller skating championships

The Indonesian roller skating team achieved significant success at the Belt and Road China-ASEAN Speed Roller Skating Championships 2026, held in Dehua County, China, from August 7 to 9. The contingent secured a total of 19 medals, consisting of 14 gold, four silver, and one bronze.

Key performers included Athaya Rizky Prasetya, who earned three gold medals in the Senior Men's 200m, 500m+D, and 1,000m events, and Disna Ayu Luhutia, who claimed three gold medals in the senior women's 500m+D, 1,000m, and 5,000m points categories. Other gold medalists included members of the men's relay team and several junior athletes.

In a separate aquatic competition, the 2026 CMAS Asia Underwater Hockey Championships were held in Puncak, West Java, Indonesia. The Indonesian teams secured two medals: a silver medal won by the Cucut Underwater Hockey Club in the U15 category and a bronze medal earned by the Indonesian women's elite team.
