Indonesia football squads draw with Cambodia, gear up for AFF Cup 2026

The Indonesia women's national football team finished the group stage of the AFF Women’s Cup 2026 with a 1‑1 draw against Cambodia in Shah Alam, Malaysia. Sheva Imut scored in the 41st minute, but Cambodia equalised three minutes into the second half, leaving the Garuda Pertiwi side second in Group B on goal‑difference.

Meanwhile, the Indonesia men’s senior team held a second‑phase training camp in Gianyar, Bali, focusing on tactical cohesion ahead of the senior AFF Cup 2026 that begins on 24 July. Coach John Herdman oversaw sessions with 22 players, narrowing the squad to 23 who will travel for the tournament, including the upcoming group match against Cambodia on 27 July in Bogor.

Both squads aim to improve performance ahead of the upcoming AFF competition, with the women looking to advance from the group stage and the men preparing to challenge for the regional title.
