Indonesian Air Force member dies following alleged assault by seniors

Serda Ahmad Muzammil Farisa, a member of the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU), died under suspicious circumstances following an alleged assault by four other service members. The incident reportedly took place at the Mess Psikologi Galaksi within the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base complex in East Jakarta.

TB Hasanuddin, a member of Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), has called for an end to violence linked to seniority within the military. He emphasized that the tradition of violence by seniors or superiors must be eliminated to foster a healthy environment of cooperation and mutual respect, which is essential for soldiers prepared for combat duties.
