Indonesian Alumni Hold Health Walk in Gorontalo and Unity Meeting in Sorong

Alumni of SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo gathered for a large health‑walk event on 8 August 2026. Organized by the central board of the school's alumni association (DPP IKA SMANSA Gorontalo) and led by Brigadier General Police Abd Rizal Engahu, the walk attracted thousands of former students, featured door‑prize giveaways and emphasized camaraderie among graduates.

In Sorong, West Papua, the national council of the Alumni of Higher Education for Civil Service (IKAPTK) met under chairman Agus Fatoni. Fatoni called on all alumni to support the government's priority programs, stressing their role as a unifying force for the nation and urging professional service to the public. The gathering aimed to strengthen alumni networks and promote coordinated action across Indonesia's regions.
