Indonesian authorities conduct drug and social order raids in Jakarta and Kuningan
Law enforcement agencies in Indonesia have conducted several large-scale operations targeting narcotics and social order violations. In West Jakarta, a joint task force including the Polda Metro Jaya, TNI, and BNNP DKI Jakarta raided the Kampung Ambon area in Cengkareng. The operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 51.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 28.1 grams of suspected ketamine, and vape cartridges containing etomidate. Officers also confiscated an airsoft gun, sharp weapons, and various drug paraphernalia.
In Kuningan, Regency, police and local officials conducted raids on boarding houses and hotels to prevent drug abuse and maintain public order. While urine tests conducted on 15 residents at several boarding houses returned negative results, other inspections uncovered social violations. These included the discovery of unmarried couples, same-sex couples, and suspected involvement in online prostitution activities. Health officials also participated in the Kuningan operations to conduct medical screenings for potential sexually transmitted infections.
