Indonesian authorities expand mobile tax payment services
Local authorities in Indonesia are expanding public service access to facilitate tax payments. In Pekanbaru, the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) has opened additional service posts across five technical implementation unit (UPT) areas. These posts, active on August 29-30, aim to assist citizens in settling Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) before the August 31 deadline. Locations include Kuantan Regency, Hawai Swalayan Rumbai, Citraland, Pasar Palapa, and Masjid At-Tin Syuhada.
Simultaneously, Polda Metro Jaya is providing mobile Samsat services across eight areas in the Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Detabek) regions to assist with annual motor vehicle tax payments. Available locations include Alun-Alun Cibodas, Serpong, Ciledug, Ciputat, Kelapa Dua, Bekasi Barat, Depok, and Cinere. Residents are advised to bring original and photocopies of their KTP, BPKB, and STNK, and note that these mobile units only handle annual payments, not five-year registration renewals.
