Indonesian badminton team begins physical conditioning for Denmark Open 2026

The Indonesian badminton team has begun physical adaptation training in Odense, Denmark, ahead of the Denmark Open 2026. Following their arrival on Saturday, October 10, athletes focused on gym-based conditioning to recover from long-distance travel.

Physical trainer Ahmad Jaelani stated that the morning sessions prioritize stretching, mobility, strength maintenance, and endurance to prepare the players for technical court training in the afternoons. While the team's general condition is reported as good, some players are managing muscle stiffness through these tailored programs. Fajar Alfian noted that the gym sessions are essential for restoring body comfort and readiness before engaging in intensive technical drills.
