Various Indonesian financial institutions and organizations are conducting initiatives focused on economic development, financial literacy, and digital banking services.
CIMB Niaga held the Wealth Xpo 2026 in Jakarta, featuring financial classes and speakers like Najwa Shihab, who discussed the importance of passing on values and education as a legacy alongside wealth. Bank Indonesia is also active in regional development, hosting the South Sulawesi Investment Challenge to promote sustainable investment and conducting training for journalists to improve economic data reporting.
In the banking sector, Bank Muamalat reported a fourfold year-on-year increase in its KPR iB Hijrah Baitullah sharia home financing product, reaching Rp423 billion by June 2026. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) has emphasized caution regarding high-yield investment scams, while its BRILink agents in Purwakarta recorded Rp2.24 trillion in transactions, aiding local MSMEs. Additionally, BNI reported that its wondrX 2026 expo attracted over 100,000 visitors with transactions totaling Rp2.73 trillion.
