Indonesian communities hold blood drives and cultural events

Various communities in Indonesia are organizing social and cultural activities to mark significant milestones. In Bantul, the Memetri Kaistimewan DIY event is being held to commemorate the 14th anniversary of the Special Region of Yogyakarta's Special Status Law. The festivities include traditional Jathilan performances, workshops on making Dluwang and Wiru Jarik, and a Bisindo workshop. A blood donation drive is also being conducted at Pendopo Parasamya with a target of 100 blood bags.

In Madiun, residents of Sukorejo Village held blood donations and free health check-ups to celebrate the 81st anniversary of Indonesian Independence. Nearly 100 residents participated in health screenings, while 17 eligible participants donated blood, a number chosen to symbolize the August 17 independence date.
