Indonesian companies launch community aid programs in Cirebon and Riau

Several companies in Indonesia are implementing corporate social responsibility programs to support local communities in West Java and Riau.

In Cirebon, PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) has constructed boreholes and sanitation facilities (MCK) in Matangaji Village to address clean water shortages. The initiative also included free health screenings for local residents.

In Riau, PT Nusa Wana Raya (NWR) provided various forms of aid to the Pelalawan Regency. This includes sewing and overlock machines for the Cahayo Laut batik group to boost local MSMEs, fishing nets for local fishermen, and construction materials for religious facilities.

Additionally, PT Wananugraha Bima Lestari (WBL) distributed aid across three villages in Riau. Their contributions included medical equipment for Posyandu health posts to combat stunting, fire extinguishing tools for forest and land fire mitigation, and office equipment such as computers for village administration.
