Indonesian Culture Minister meets Tunisian delegation in Jakarta

Indonesian Minister of Culture Fadli Zon met with a Tunisian delegation, including Ambassador Mohamed Trabelsi, to discuss cultural heritage and bilateral interests. During the meeting, Zon expressed interest in a film project regarding Hatim Elmekki, a Tunisian painter born in Jakarta in 1918. Zon, who is also a historian, showcased his ministry's collection of rare books, manuscripts, and artworks, and presented a new book concerning the 1955 Bandung Conference.
