Indonesian Customs supports MSME global market expansion

Indonesian Customs is implementing various initiatives to prepare Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for global market expansion. In Riau, workshops have been conducted to educate business owners on export procedures, legality, certification, financing, marketing, and logistics. These programs also include training on using artificial intelligence for market research and identifying potential international buyers.

In a practical application of these export efforts, PT Sun Wing Ming Indonesia, a company based in Semarang, successfully completed its first export shipment to the United States. The shipment consisted of 4,400 classic Disney dolls, valued at approximately USD 18,108, sent via a single container. This milestone was supported by the Bonded Zone facilities provided by the Semarang Customs Office.
