Indonesian Deputy Minister of Manpower calls for strategic partnership with JARNAS.INDO

Indonesian Deputy Minister of Manpower, Afriansyah Noor, has invited the National Network of Indonesia (JARNAS.INDO) to serve as a strategic partner in supporting national development, specifically within the labor sector.

Speaking at the JARNAS.INDO National Working Meeting in Jakarta, Afriansyah emphasized the importance of responsible public oversight, constructive ideas, and active participation to ensure development remains transparent, high-integrity, and focused on public welfare. He noted that national development requires the involvement of various societal elements to ensure policies provide tangible benefits to the people.

Regarding labor development, the Ministry of Manpower is focusing on improving human resource quality through expanded access to vocational training, competency certification, and increased labor productivity. The Ministry is also working to align worker competencies with industrial needs and is developing digital and green job skills to prepare the Indonesian workforce for technological shifts.
