Indonesian Dukcapil Offices Roll Out Integrated Services for Residents
The Dispendukcapil office in Jember, East Java, launched the PASTI MAPAN program, which combines civil‑registration services with court hearings in a single venue. The first session, held on 26 June 2026, allowed applicants to obtain court‑approved document changes without visiting multiple agencies, with a reduced fee of Rp210 000. Head of Dispendukcapil Jember Bambang Saputro said, “Hari ini telah dilaksanakan sidang pertama sebagai tindak lanjut nota kesepahaman antara Bupati Jember bersama Ketua Pengadilan Negeri Jember.”
In Jayapura, Papua, the Dukcapil department continues its “jemput bola” outreach, sending mobile teams to villages to process up to 400 identity documents per visit at no charge. Dr Suprianto, the city’s Dukcapil chief, noted, “Setiap kali tim turun ke kampung‑kampung, minimal 400 dokumen kependudukan dapat diselesaikan langsung di lokasi.” The program aims to expand to multiple daily teams and incorporate community‑based data collection to improve registration accuracy across the region.
