Indonesian energy and logistics firms report H1 2026 growth

PT Pelindo Sinergi Lokaseva (PSL) reported increased operational performance across several key business lines during the first half of 2026. Yard storage activities grew by 9.32% compared to the same period in 2025, driven by activity in Belawan, Dumai, Pasoso, and Common Areas. Additionally, freight forwarding and multimodal services saw increases of 16.44% and 8.08%, respectively, supported by improved trucking and customs clearance services in Surabaya and multimodal services in Kuala Tanjung. Property management at Pelindo Tower also saw a 2.89% increase in rental production.

Separately, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) recorded solid financial results for the first half of 2026, with revenue rising 14.73% year-on-year to USD 235 million. Net profit grew by 15.48% to USD 79.605 million, attributed to increased geothermal electricity production and plant reliability. PGE aims to reach a capacity target of 1 Gigawatt by 2028 and has utilized USD 23 million in capital expenditure for projects including Lumut Balai 3 and Ulubelu.
