Indonesian energy firms leverage technology to boost production and efficiency

PT Elnusa Tbk is focusing on technological innovation and industry collaboration to support Indonesia's national oil and gas production. During the Elnusa Energy Connect 2026 event, CEO Litta Indriya Ariesca emphasized the importance of public trust and media transparency in sustaining the energy industry. The company aims to utilize its technological capabilities to provide operational solutions that address national energy security needs.

Separately, PLN Nusantara Power has implemented the Nusantara Control Center (NuCC), an artificial intelligence-based system, to optimize hydroelectric power plants in East Java. This digital initiative, which utilizes IoT and predictive maintenance, has helped improve the efficiency of aging assets at the Brantas Generation Unit. The company’s efforts in sustainable renewable energy initiatives were recognized with a Silver award at the Asian Power Awards 2026.
