Indonesian energy firms receive major industry and clean energy awards

Indonesian energy companies have received multiple regional and national accolades for their financial performance and clean energy innovations.

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGN) was named Best Energy Sector – IDX Main Board at the EmitenNews Capital Market Excellence Awards 2026. The company received maximum scores for investor interest, dividend contribution, reputation, and public shares. This follows a 2025 fiscal year where PGN reported revenues of USD 3.9 billion, a 5% increase from the previous year.

Additionally, the PLN Group received four honors at the ASEAN Energy Awards 2026 in Manila. PLN Nusantara Power won awards for its Greenvoltaic Hydrogen Plant at the Muara Karang plant and its green administration building. The Cirata Floating Solar Power Plant was named First Runner-up in the utility-scale on-grid category. PLN Indonesia Power also secured a Second Runner-up position for its biomass integration and smart energy management innovations in West Java.
