Indonesian entities partner for construction research and energy transparency

The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) and PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen the research and innovation ecosystem within the construction industry. This collaboration aims to develop innovative, efficient, and competitive construction technologies that support sustainable development and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.

Separately, Pertamina Patra Niaga has signed an Integrity Pact for the Protection of Strategic Development with the Attorney General's Office (Kejaksaan Agung RI). This partnership is designed to enhance good corporate governance and increase transparency in the procurement of crude oil, fuel (BBM), and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for the 2026-2027 period. The initiative seeks to mitigate legal risks and ensure national energy security amidst global geopolitical uncertainties and oil price volatility.
