Indonesian esports athletes target medals at 2026 Asian Games

Indonesian esports athletes Moch. Afthon Fathony and Ararat Samuel Manullang have announced their readiness to compete in the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. The athletes were officially released by President Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace in Jakarta.

Targeting at least a bronze medal, the athletes have undergone two months of intensive training that includes physical exercise, nutritional management, and medical supervision. The competitors view the event as a significant opportunity to prove the legitimacy of esports as a professional sport on the global stage.
