Indonesian female police celebrate 78th anniversary

Indonesian female police officers (Polwan) celebrated their 78th anniversary through various commemorative events across different regions.

In Kepulauan Yapen, the local police resort held a thanksgiving ceremony at the Mambora Building. Police Chief AKBP Diaritz Felle emphasized the importance of professionalism, integrity, and humanistic service, noting that female officers play a strategic role in maintaining close ties with the community.

In the Riau Islands, the regional police organized community service activities in Rempang. Led by Public Relations Chief Kombes Pol. Nona Pricillia Ohei, the event included free health check-ups, coloring competitions for children, and the distribution of social aid such as rice and basic food packages. The initiative aimed to strengthen the relationship between the police force and the public through social welfare and religious gatherings.
