Indonesian food task forces inspect rice prices and stocks

Food task forces in Indonesia have conducted inspections across various markets to monitor rice prices and stock availability. In North Jakarta, the Tanjung Priok Port Police Food Task Force inspected traders in the Muara Angke area to ensure selling prices do not exceed the government-mandated Maximum Retail Price (HET).

In Bojonegoro, authorities including the Bojonegoro Police, Perum Bulog, and local trade departments monitored markets and modern retailers. Findings indicated that rice prices remain relatively stable. Premium rice was priced around Rp14,900 per kilogram, medium rice at approximately Rp13,500 per kilogram, and SPHP rice at roughly Rp12,500 per kilogram. Authorities confirmed that stocks are currently sufficient to meet community needs and urged traders to adhere to official pricing regulations.
