Indonesian football clubs secure key victories in Championship and EPA One

Various Indonesian football clubs achieved significant results in recent matches across the Championship 2026/2027 and Elite Pro Academy (EPA) One competitions.

In the Championship, Sumsel United secured their first victory of the season after defeating Persiraja Banda Aceh, aided by a goal from Tomi Darmawan. Similarly, Persipura Jayapura earned their first win by defeating de Red FC 3-1 in Surabaya, despite playing with only 10 men for much of the match following a red card for Lazarus Sinim.

In the EPA One youth competitions, results were mixed for Persebaya. The U-18 squad maintained a perfect record with a dominant 4-1 victory over PSS Sleman U-18. Conversely, the Persebaya U-20 side suffered a 0-1 defeat against PSS Sleman U-20, with coach Mat Halil citing a lack of early concentration and finishing issues as the primary causes.
