Indonesian Free Fire teams advance in FFWS SEA 2026 Fall

Three Indonesian Free Fire teams—RRQ Kazu, Bigetron by Vitality, and ONIC—have advanced to the top 12 of Phase 1 in the FFWS SEA 2026 Fall tournament. These teams will proceed to Phase 2 to compete for a spot in the Grand Finals, which is scheduled to be held in Surabaya. RRQ Kazu showed particularly strong performance, finishing third in the Phase 1 standings with three Booyahs and 267 eliminations.

In a related development regarding the local esports ecosystem, RRQ Kazu coach Adi ‘Adyy’ Gustiawan highlighted the difficulties in scouting young talent in Indonesia. He noted that a lack of consistent competitive opportunities makes it challenging for professional teams to gather sufficient data to evaluate potential players. Gustiawan suggested that increasing tournament frequency would help prevent talented players from remaining inactive between seasons. To address this, RRQ utilizes its Academy program to identify and train emerging talent for the professional scene.
