Parents of prospective students at SMA 1 Kudus have complained about long queues for verifying admission documents in the national SPMB system. School officials said the bottleneck is caused by high applicant numbers and frequent documentation errors, and they suggested an online queuing system to give families clearer appointment times.

At SMAN 1 Maung in Tasikmalaya, parents protested after their children's SPMB scores unexpectedly dropped, removing them from the admission quota. The school clarified that scores displayed early in the process are provisional and are being adjusted during verification by the provincial education department to ensure they reflect valid, documented achievements. Parents are calling for greater transparency in the scoring and verification process.
