Indonesian hotels host health initiatives for anniversaries

Hotels in Indonesia are marking their anniversaries through community health initiatives.

Ibis Budget Surabaya Diponegoro celebrated its 8th anniversary by hosting a blood donation drive titled ‘8xtraordinary’. Organized in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Surabaya and Parahita Laboratory, the event involved employees, guests, and the general public. General Manager Budi Setiawan stated the initiative aimed to provide direct benefits to the community, noting that the number of participants exceeded the initial target of 80 people.

In Yogyakarta, Satoria Hotel Yogyakarta held a series of events for its 9th anniversary under the theme ‘Together We 9row’. As part of a nine-event series, the hotel hosted a ‘Your Health Matters’ program featuring a health talkshow, blood drives, free health screenings, and eye examinations. The blood drive was supported by PMI Sleman, Optik General, and Kimia Farma, while experts provided education on healthy lifestyles and eye care.
