Indonesian insurers BRI Life and Askrindo receive major industry awards

PT Asuransi BRI Life announced that by July 2026 it had secured several national and international recognitions. The company won the “Top Digital Application Insurance” prize at the JawaPos.com Digital Excellence Awards 2026, was named “Domestic Life Insurer of the Year” at the Insurance Asia Awards 2026 in Singapore, and received the Indonesia Excellence Good Corporate Governance Award 2026 for its governance ethic in expanding protection access. Division Head of Corporate Secretary Ade Nasution said the awards reflect the firm’s commitment to digital transformation and strong corporate governance.

PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Askrindo) was awarded the Market Leader General Insurance National 2026 at the Insurance Market Leaders Award 2026. Director of Business Budhi Novianto highlighted the role of disciplined governance, operational efficiency and a focus on digital ecosystem modernization. He outlined plans to diversify products, extend coverage to micro‑, small‑ and medium‑size enterprises, and deepen collaboration with state‑owned enterprises and banks to boost financial inclusion.
