Indonesian leaders emphasize youth role in national development

Indonesian leaders are emphasizing the critical role of youth in national development and character building. In Lampung, KNPI Chairman Iqbal Ardiansyah highlighted the importance of the demographic bonus, stating that the younger generation must be active drivers of progress toward the ‘Indonesia Emas 2045’ vision rather than mere spectators.

Ardiansyah called for increased collaboration among various youth organizations to address complex challenges such as technological advancement, economic transformation, and human resource quality. He stressed that youth must possess critical yet constructive thinking skills to contribute to the nation's future.

Separately, DPD RI Chairman Sultan B Najamudin praised the involvement of students in the National Paskibraka (flag-hoisting troop). He noted that the experience serves as a vital tool for fostering discipline, nationalism, and responsibility. Najamudin specifically recognized students from Bengkulu for their participation in the 81st Independence Day celebrations, viewing such roles as foundational for future leadership.
