Indonesian Liga 2 clubs prepare for 2026/2027 season

Indonesian football clubs are finalizing preparations for the 2026/2027 Liga 2 season.

PSGC Ciamis is currently at 60 to 70 percent readiness as the coaching staff focuses on tactical maturation and establishing the team's playing identity. The club is considering holding a training camp and friendly matches in Yogyakarta to facilitate finding opponents for testing purposes, pending management approval.

Meanwhile, PSPS Pekanbaru has strengthened its squad by signing 19-year-old Dimas Wicaksono Putra Rahman. Formerly of Persebaya Surabaya and Persiraja Banda Aceh, the versatile midfielder and winger brings professional experience to the Askar Bertuah squad. Dimas, who was previously called up to the Indonesia U-20 national team training camp, brings the total number of players at PSPS to 27.
