Indonesian ministers adopt PT Pindad Maung Garuda vehicles

Several coordinating ministers of the Red and White Cabinet have begun using the Maung Garuda, a vehicle manufactured by PT Pindad, as official service cars. The transition was noted during events such as the 81st TNI Anniversary.

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto and Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar both confirmed the use of the domestic vehicles. Muhaimin Iskandar expressed pride in using a product designed and assembled by Indonesians, noting it serves as evidence of the country's growing industrial capabilities.

Coordinating Minister for Downstream and Energy Transition Bahlil Lahadalia also commented on the vehicle, describing it as comfortable and competitive within the premium market. Currently, approximately 18 units have been allocated to heads of agencies and coordinating ministers.
