Indonesian modified BMW to be featured at SEMA Show 2026

The National Modificator & Aftermarket Association (NMAA) and Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI) have officially released the BMW Passato, a modified vehicle created by Indonesian builders, to participate in the SEMA Show 2026 in Las Vegas, USA.

The event is scheduled to take place from November 3 to 6, 2026. The BMW Passato, based on a 2010 BMW 320, serves as a centerpiece for the NMAA-IMI SEMA Project 2026, which aims to showcase the quality and competitiveness of Indonesia's aftermarket and modification industry on a global stage.

The project involves several domestic industry players, including Rain Works, Musartwork, Tomi Airbrush, Garasi Drift, 54 Metal Craft, AirBFT, and WetGloss, in collaboration with Passato Garage. Officials stated that this participation is intended to introduce Indonesian modification craftsmanship and technical engineering to the international market.
