Indonesian National Police conducts major officer mutations

Indonesian National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo issued several telegrams on August 30, 2026, regarding the mutation, rotation, and promotion of 424 high-ranking and middle-ranking officers.

As part of these changes, three Police Chiefs (Kapolres) are being transferred to the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri): Kombes Pol Erick Frendiz, Kombes Pol Raden Muhammad Jauhari, and Kombes Pol Sumarni. Additionally, four Police Inspectors General (Irjen Pol) are being moved into roles designated for retirement, including Irjen Pol Anwar, Irjen Pol Herry Rudolf Nahak, Irjen Pol Agus Santoso, and Irjen Pol Agus Djaka Santoso.

Police Public Relations Division Head Irjen Pol Johnny Eddizon Isir stated that these movements are part of organizational development and career management, noting that placements are based on organizational needs, competence, and experience.
