Bandung police dismantle illegal drug factory producing 8 million pills daily

Indonesian authorities have conducted a series of major narcotics operations across several provinces. In West Java, the West Java Regional Police and Bandung City Police dismantled an illegal drug production network operating out of the Bizpark warehouse area in Kopo, Bandung. The operation uncovered a factory capable of producing up to 8 million pills per day, including Hexymer and Tramadol. Police arrested five suspects involved in various roles, including production and distribution, and seized massive quantities of illegal pills and raw materials estimated to be sufficient for producing 256 million more pills.

In West Sumatra, police raided drug-prone areas in Padang, specifically Pasar Gaung and Pasar Pagi Juanda. These operations resulted in the arrest of dozens of individuals, with many testing positive for narcotics. In Riau, authorities successfully intercepted a large shipment of 47 kilograms of methamphetamine in Pekanbaru.

Other regional enforcement actions included the seizure of methamphetamine in Sambas, Kalimantan, and various raids on entertainment venues in Yogyakarta, Magetan, and Pangkep to prevent drug abuse. In Medan, a joint task force dismantled a drug den in Gang Pantai, seizing methamphetamine and marijuana.
