Indonesian Police Chief inducted into Muhammadiyah and oversees officer mutations

Indonesian National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo was officially inducted as an Honorary Member of Tapak Suci Muhammadiyah on August 8, 2026. The induction aims to strengthen institutional ties between the police and one of Indonesia's largest Islamic organizations to enhance national security and public trust.

In a separate organizational development, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo issued a mutation and promotion list for 146 officers in late July 2026. This included the promotion of three officers from Police Commissioner to Brigadier General, all of whom have been assigned to strategic positions within Baintelkam Polri.
